Clear images of a Big Cat in Scotland

Spotted and filmed at Helensburgh, Dunbartonshire, this mysterious black cat’s proximity to a railway line gives a good idea of its size: more than four feet long.  The organisation Big Cats in Britain, who monitor such sightings, conclude it’s “certainly not a domestic cat.” Read more in the Telegraph.

It’s not the first piece of “evidence” for the presence of exotic cats in Scotland: three years ago in Fife, after a spate of sightings, paw prints were preserved in a plaster cast and identified by an expert as of a non-indigenous species.
