Nannerth Fawr farm with two cottages for let on the river Wye is a family owned business on a traditional working hill farm. Many animals can be seen in our traditional farmyard. Ducks, geese and swans swim on the ponds, while hens, turkeys and other poultry roam free. There are also pigs and goats. Our 200 acre hill farm is in an environmentally sensitive area, with ancient hay meadows, woodlands and beautiful wild flowers. Our extensive wetlands, with a number of rare dragonflies, are visited by otters, herons and wild duck. Dippers can be seen along the river and red kites are spotted daily from our farm. On the bank above the rhos there is an extensive badger sett with several families in residence. It is usually possible to watch the badgers at dusk from the new badger hide.
