La Bárcena is located in the Picos de Europa National Park, on the road between Potes and Fuente Dé cable car. Its great location, 200 metres from the main road, makes it accessible any season of the year, even in winter with snow.
The lodge is a group of 17 rural homes and apartments each with a capacity from 2 to 8 persons. We have 3 suite apartments with hydro-massage for two people , DVD, fireplace and dishwasher. Most of the homes have a porch, terrace or garden. In June 2007, the lodge is to open a heated swimming pool (covered in winter) so you have a swim 365 days of the year. A sauna and gymnasium is also available. The lodge is set in gardens with a barbecue area and parking.

Cantabrian farmhouse and barn. The lodge is an ideal base for great hiking and trips around the National Park, visiting and shopping in the old quarter of Potes or the nearby beautiful villages of Mogrovejo, Espinama and Pido, etc, or simply resting and relaxing in the Lodge.
