Julian Trevelyan’s collage ‘Bolton’, 1937. The work depicts an industrial mill scene, but also incorporates newspaper and magazine cuttings from the Spanish Civil War, reflecting fears of the rise of fascism and events in Spain. On display at Bolton Museum.
